Mr. Shinichi YAMAMOTO

Mr. Yamamoto is President of Japanese Association of Occupational Therapists (JAOT). Since 2001 he has been actively involved in the association and served as Director (2001-2009), Managing Director (2009-2017), and Vice President (2017-2023) of JAOT. After he graduated from Ehime Juzen Medical College, he joined Kanoiwa Yamanashi Onsen Hospital (currently Yamanashi Rehabilitation Hospital). Mr. Yamamoto is also the Honorary Deputy Director of Yamanashi Rehabilitation Hospital since 2023. With nearly 40 years of experience, Mr Yamamoto is a leading specialist in stroke rehabilitation. He has made significant contributions to the field by sharing his extensive clinical knowledge and skills with therapists, helping to advance the quality of rehabilitation practice.
